About The Position
An industrial company is hiring an experienced Stick Welder / Structural Fabricator to perform stick/SMAW welding and metal fabrication work. The position involves working with metal components in an industrial environment, preparing and fitting materials, using fabrication equipment, following measurements and instructions, and inspecting completed welds. Full-time hours are offered, with overtime available.
Requirements
- Previous stick/SMAW welding experience.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Nice To Haves
- Metal fabrication experience is preferred.
- Experience working with heavy steel is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform stick/SMAW welding on metal components.
- Cut, fit, and prepare materials.
- Use grinders, cutting equipment, and fabrication tools.
- Read measurements and fabrication instructions.
- Inspect completed welds.
