About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team. This role involves utilizing MIG welding for structural steel, finishing parts according to specifications, and interpreting customer drawings. The ideal candidate will be able to produce high-quality, error-free parts with precision, follow directions in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong communication and detail-oriented skills.

Requirements

• Must have welding/fabricating experience.
• At least 1 year of blueprint reading.
• Prolonged periods of standing and walking with frequent pulling, pushing, lifting, & bending.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• All personal protective equipment must be worn where necessary (i.e. safety glasses, shoes, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Utilize MIG for welding structural steel.
• Finish parts (straighten, grind, polish, wipe down, etc.) per spec on print or lead’s instruction.
• Read and interpret customer drawings.
• Produce quality, error free parts with precision on customer specifications.
• Review traveler/prints to determine what needs to be fabricated/welded.
• Read blueprints, tape measure, and caliper.
• Double check parts to spec before and after fabricating, then have another approved person check.
• Be able to follow directions in a fast-paced environment while completing jobs in allotted time frames.
• Have great communication skills and be detail oriented.
