Requirements

Proven experience in welding, particularly with heavy-duty truck and equipment components
Proficiency in reading welding symbols and technical drawings
Strong mechanical skills and understanding of fabrication processes
Knowledge of different metals and welding techniques
Ability to operate grinding tools and surface preparation equipment
Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Relevant certifications are a plus

Responsibilities

Build and assemble heavy-duty truck frames and equipment components
Perform welding tasks using various techniques and materials
Read and interpret welding symbols and technical drawings
Prepare surfaces by grinding and cleaning to ensure quality welds
Apply knowledge of metals, fabrication, and assembly processes
Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards
