About The Position

As a Welder Fabricator, you will read blueprints, fabricate metal components, and perform welding operations (MIG, TIG, SMAW/Stick) to assemble structures and equipment. This role requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with a variety of metals in a fast-paced fabrication environment. You will operate equipment such as plasma cutters, grinders, cranes, and forklifts, ensuring all work meets quality, safety, and welding standards.

Requirements

Minimum 2+ years of welding and fabrication experience
Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and Stick welding
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints
Experience using fabrication tools and heavy equipment
Strong understanding of metal properties and welding safety
Excellent attention to detail and craftsmanship
Ability to lift materials and perform physically demanding work
Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude

Nice To Haves

AWS Certification (American Welding Society) preferred

Responsibilities

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols
Cut, bend, shape, and assemble metal components using fabrication tools
Perform welding using: MIG welding, TIG welding, Stick welding (SMAW), Oxy-acetylene torch
Operate fabrication equipment including: Plasma cutters, Ironworkers & shears, Drill presses & grinders, Overhead cranes & forklifts
Inspect welds to ensure structural integrity and code compliance
Work with a variety of metals (steel, stainless steel, copper, alloys)
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Complete work orders, job documentation, and quality checks
Follow all OSHA and workplace safety standards
