Scott Equipment Company is inviting welders to join our team in New Prague, MN! Scott Equipment builds custom equipment, so we DON'T have assembly lines which means you'll have variety in your day to day work. We will train you on the job! Requirements

Ability to take direction, be a team player, and show up on time
Ability to utilize a variety of shop tools & machinery
Must be able to lift 75 pounds
Mig, stick, shearing, cutting, drilling, grinding on carbon steel and stainless steel.

Responsibilities

On assigned job orders clarifies process with Team Lead, clarifies procedures, ensures materials are available and understands specifications and deadline
Reviews drawings and machine set up prior to project initiation
Knowledge of hand tools per project
Under direction from Team Lead will perform: Rigging, Shearing, Rolling, Drilling, Grinding and polishing, Stick welding, Mig welding, Plasma cutting
Ensures a safe work environment by following safety requirements and policies.
Performs other responsibilities and special projects as assigned
