About The Position
This role involves evaluating engineering drawings, performing welding with various equipment, and ensuring quality control of finished products. The Welder/Fabricator will work with gas torches, welders, and hand/power tools to assemble and inspect metal objects according to specifications. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work accurately and thoroughly.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic reading skills. Must be able to follow directions
- Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly
- Ability to use thinking and reasoning to solve a problem and to think in such a way as to produce a new concept or idea
- High attention to detail and self-motivation skills
Nice To Haves
- 1-2 years mechanical assembly experience may be required
Responsibilities
- Evaluate engineering drawings and ensure implementation according to welding specifications
- Perform all welding work with help of forming and cutting equipment
- Perform efficient welding of various metal objects with help of gas torch and welder
- Perform work with help of various hand and power tools
- Evaluate finished products and perform quality checks on products
- Analyze diagrams and specifications and cut all metal accordingly with help of welding torch
