This role is for a talented Welder/Fabricator, II responsible for supporting the fabrication department through welding, fabrication, bending, and shearing.

Requirements

High School Diploma.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in welding and fabricating.
Forklift Certification
Able to read measuring tape and ruler and follow basic blueprints
Knowledge of shop mathematics
Ability to use a computer

Responsibilities

Read and understand blueprints and technical drawings.
Check raw material for dimensional accuracy and quantity record.
Fit and weld fabrications to print tolerance.
Highly proficient in Heavy MiG, Tig, and Stick welding in both flat and out of position techniques.
Experience operating a Shear Machine, Press Brake and Pinch Roll.
Experience operating overhead crane, welding machines.
Proficient in straightening and finish grinding of fabricated assemblies.
Design and build of Jigs and Fixtures to save time and ensure accurate positioning of components.
Ensure work is performed in a safe manner using all available safety equipment.
Ability to troubleshoot defects and provide quality output according to production schedules.
Repairing or modifying components as needed.
All other related duties as assigned.
