About The Position

The Welcome Gate Security Attendant is responsible for greeting arriving and departing guests and visitors in a friendly and professional manner. This role involves anticipating guest needs, responding promptly to requests, and resolving concerns to ensure guest satisfaction. The attendant will maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, policies, room availability, arrivals/departures, and group activities. Key duties include issuing parking passes, maintaining parking records, and following established vehicle and parking procedures. The attendant will also assist with vehicle staging and traffic flow at hotel entrances, ensuring clear access areas. Monitoring parking areas for safety hazards, unauthorized personnel, security concerns, vehicle incidents, or maintenance issues and reporting them to management is crucial. Following hotel procedures for vehicle accidents, breakdowns, and other parking-related incidents is also required. Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and guest-facing spaces, accurately using hotel computer systems, and supporting daily departmental operations are essential. The role requires ensuring compliance with company, franchise, safety, and OSHA standards, promoting a safe, secure, and respectful work environment, and maintaining confidentiality of guest and employee information. Assisting with guest incidents, lost-and-found reporting, emergencies, and accident procedures as needed, and communicating effectively with management, coworkers, and guests are also part of the responsibilities. Completing required training, maintaining attendance standards, and performing additional duties as assigned are expected.
