About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is accepting resumes for a Welcome Center Rest Area Attendant at the Fair Play, South Carolina Welcome Center. Under the supervision of the Project Manager or designated Supervisor, the attendant is responsible for general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the Welcome Center. The required schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The attendant may also be asked to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Must be able to work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Must have current government-issued identification.
Must have transportation to and from the assigned work location.
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Must comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and grounds maintenance.
Remove solid waste; empty trash receptacles and recycling containers as needed and as required by contract.
Sweep parking lots, sidewalks, and other areas as needed; pick up litter; remove snow from sidewalks as directed; and apply ice melt.
Remove litter from flower beds and non-paved areas; clean picnic areas and grills.
Replace light bulbs as requested and address other interior building maintenance needs as requested.
Sweep and mop support rooms, lobbies, entrances, and common areas.
Clean countertops, fixtures, windows, mirrors, kitchen areas, and other Welcome Center areas.
Dust desks, flat surfaces, pictures, and walls; vacuum carpeted areas; and empty garbage containers in office and common areas.
Clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, toilets, and other restroom fixtures.
Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
Strip and wax floors.
Perform other Welcome Center duties as needed.
