About The Position

U.S. Facilities, Inc. is hiring a Welcome Center Rest Area Attendant for the Welcome Center in Fair Play, South Carolina. Under the supervision of the Project Manager or designated Supervisor, the attendant is responsible for general maintenance, cleaning, and upkeep of the Welcome Center. The required schedule is Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The role may also require overtime, including weekends and holidays, and employees may be asked to perform duties outside their usual responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

Must be able to work Friday through Sunday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends and holidays.
Must have current government-issued identification.
Must have transportation to and from the assigned work location.
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 pounds.
Must comply with the Company Drug and Alcohol Policy.

Nice To Haves

Prior janitorial experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform general maintenance and grounds maintenance.
Remove solid waste by emptying trash receptacles and recycling containers as required by contract.
Sweep parking lots and sidewalks as needed, pick up litter, remove snow from sidewalks as directed, and apply ice melt.
Remove litter from flower beds and non-paved areas; clean picnic areas and grills.
Replace interior light bulbs when requested and perform other maintenance needs as requested.
Sweep and mop support rooms, lobbies, entrance ways, and common areas.
Clean countertops, fixtures, windows, desks, flat surfaces, pictures, and walls; dust surfaces and vacuum carpeted areas.
Empty garbage containers in offices and common areas.
Clean and disinfect sinks, urinals, toilets, and kitchen areas.
Refill paper towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers.
Clean mirrors as needed and strip and wax floors.
Perform other Welcome Center needs and duties as assigned.
