About The Position

The Welcome Center Office Manager oversees daily front-desk operations, visitor traffic, and institutional communications for the Welcome Center. This role manages student scheduling, check-in and departure workflows, and main-line communications (phone, email, and text) to ensure a seamless experience for students connecting with College Navigators and campus services. Additionally, this position serves as a central hub for student outreach, maintaining contact lists, and deploying targeted messaging campaigns to support enrollment and retention. As a member of the UACCB community, each employee is responsible for advancing the Caring Campus culture to enhance student connection and success and to embody the campus purpose: Improve Lives. Key duties include adhering to the campus name badge policy, treating all visitors as guests, engaging with the campus community by reviewing institutional communications, participating in campus events, and supporting a collaborative, positive workplace environment.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two years of experience in office management, customer service, or administrative role featuring high-volume scheduling, calendar management, and direct public interaction.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s degree in business, management, or related field.
  • Experience managing digital communications, customer management databases (CRMs), or mass-messaging software.
  • Prior experience in a school, college, community agency, or customer-facing administrative environment.
