Welcome Center Concierge - Plaistow YMCA
About The Position
The Plaistow YMCA is looking for an energetic and personable individual to join our Member Services team. In this front-facing role, you’ll be the first smile our members see —and the friendly voice they rely on for information, connection, and support. You will greet members and guests with warmth and enthusiasm, making everyone feel welcome. You will answer questions, provide facility tours, and promote YMCA programs and memberships. You will build relationships with members and help connect them to services that support their goals. You will handle check-ins, update member information, and respond to inquiries professionally. You will also assist with locker room checks and respond to member needs or emergencies if needed. You will represent the Y’s mission of inclusion, wellness, and community in everything you do.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to connect with people of diverse backgrounds.
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience.
- Basic knowledge of computers.
