About The Position
Are you an energetic, friendly, and social individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Join our team at the Soul Center YMCA, a unique wellness-focused facility featuring a welcoming atmosphere and a beautiful indoor saltwater pool! We are seeking a motivated Member Services Team Member to join our Welcome Center team. In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for members and guests—creating a positive, welcoming experience while helping individuals and families connect to everything the YMCA has to offer.
Requirements
- Must be 18+ for opening and closing shifts and 16+ for all other shifts
- Availability to work a variety of shifts; we are currently hiring for multiple schedules
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build connections with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Previous customer service, sales, or related experience preferred
- Basic computer skills and comfort with learning new systems

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to members, guests, and program participants both in person and over the phone
- Welcome members with a friendly, engaging approach that supports member satisfaction and retention
- Give tours to prospective members and promote YMCA memberships and programs
- Build meaningful relationships and help members connect to programs that support their goals
- Assist with membership updates, questions, and general inquiries
- Address concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
- Follow YMCA policies and procedures related to member services
- Monitor locker rooms as needed and respond to emergencies appropriately
