Weekend Youth Soccer Coach
About The Position
Soccer Shots is seeking a passionate part-time Youth Soccer Coach to serve children ages 2-8. You’ll laugh. You’ll break a sweat. You’ll go home at the end of the day knowing that you made a difference. It may be tough, but coaching our kids will be one of the most rewarding things you ever do. Local candidates only please (no work status or visa sponsorship available). The job involves bringing “Soccer Island” alive with enthusiasm and creativity, conducting soccer sessions for children 2 to 8 years old, including field set-up and take-down. It also includes encouraging character development through positive reinforcement and modeling, utilizing expert-created Soccer Shots’ curriculum and early childhood development teaching techniques in every session, and fostering a safe and inclusive environment for all participants. Effective communication with families, caregivers, and teachers is also a key part of the role.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for children and sports
- Safety conscious
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to stand, jog, and model children’s soccer skills
- A full ten-week commitment is required to take on a lead role.
