Weekend Shift Warehouse Associate

About The Position

Warehouse Operations performs and controls manual or automated tasks needed to receive, store, and ship products, supporting their efficient movement from vendors to internal and external customers. As a warehouse team member at Cardinal Health, you will receive and fulfill orders so customers have the products they need to care for patients. The position is scheduled Friday and Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. (or until tasks are complete) and Sunday from 6:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. (or until tasks are complete).

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Ability and willingness to work in a refrigerated environment at 36°F–42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Basic proficiency in English, including the ability to read and write English to process documents.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Follow established processes to fulfill orders, including accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
