About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order by enforcing regulations and directives at client sites concerning personnel, visitors, and the area. They observe and report activities and incidents, help protect client property and personnel, and frequently provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No experience is necessary; training is provided. Retail, food service, hospitality, security, or customer service experience may be useful. The schedule includes weekend hours.

Requirements

Driver certification is required.
Must have a valid Ohio driver's license.
Must have strong customer service skills.
Must be able to complete patrols.
Must have strong technology skills, including use of a cell phone and computer.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Frequent sitting, standing, and walking may be required for long periods; duties may involve climbing stairs and walking on inclines and uneven terrain.
May frequently need to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service, or hospitality industry background is a good fit.
