About The Position

Titan Security is hiring a part-time Weekend Security Officer to provide customer service and security support. The role involves assisting people at the property, maintaining front-desk records, controlling access, monitoring cameras, conducting patrols, and responding to incidents and emergencies. Officers must be comfortable around pets and able to meet the position’s physical requirements, including lifting 50 or more pounds, walking stairs, and conducting foot patrols.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have experience as a door staff professional or in a receptionist, customer service, clerical, hotel, or restaurant position.
Be comfortable around dogs, cats, and other pets or animals.
Have a high school diploma or GED.
Be able to acquire and maintain a valid Illinois Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC), including state-accredited training requirements.
Be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Be able to meet the physical essential functions of the job, which can include lifting 50 or more pounds, completing foot patrols, walking up and down stairs, and working in inclement weather.
Have evening, overnight, and weekend availability.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to people encountered while on duty, including offering directions and general business information.
Maintain clear and accurate front-desk administrative logs regarding people and property, including packages.
Control access for tenants, visitors, and vendors as required.
Monitor security cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment.
Respond to property incidents and emergencies, and record incident information for building and Titan Security management.
Perform other duties as assigned.
