About The Position

Securitas USA is looking for a Weekend Security Officer to join their team. This part-time position involves ensuring the safety and security of clients' property and personnel by observing and reporting activities and incidents. The role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to complete patrols, and proficiency with technology such as cell phones and computers. While prior security or customer service experience is a plus, no experience is necessary as training will be provided. This role is crucial in maintaining a safe and secure environment, preserving order, and enforcing regulations. Security Officers also frequently provide customer service and information to clients' employees and customers.

Requirements

Must have strong customer service skills.
Must have strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard.
Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

Prior security or customer service experience is a plus.
Retail, food service or hospitality industry background.

Responsibilities

Provides for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
Completes patrols.
Maintains a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring the premises.
Preserves order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area.
Provides customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers.
