About The Position

The Security Officer helps maintain a safe and secure environment for clients by actively monitoring premises and patrolling a variety of locations. Officers preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for the client site as they relate to personnel, visitors, and the surrounding area. They may also provide customer service and information to client employees and customers. No security experience is necessary; training is provided. Candidates with retail, food service, or hospitality experience may be a good fit. This posting lists a wage of $15.00 per hour and describes security positions as full-time and part-time.

Requirements

Be efficient with computers.
Have good communication skills.
Have customer service and de-escalation skills.
Be comfortable wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
Pass a drug screen and background check.
Meet and continue to meet applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guards.
Be able to sit, stand, walk, and climb stairs for potentially long periods; work may also involve walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
Be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
