About The Position
Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring dependable, experienced animal professionals for weekend dog walking and pet sitting positions in the Providence, RI area. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking for active, ongoing weekend pet care work with an established professional company that values reliability, communication, continued education, and high-quality care standards. The role involves providing consistent weekend coverage (Saturday/Sunday) during specific service blocks, with opportunities for additional weekday hours. Applicants should be comfortable with a schedule based on business demand and managing travel between client homes. New hires begin as Pet Care Trainees during onboarding.
Requirements
- Prior professional animal care experience required (6 months–1 year minimum).
- Reliable transportation.
- Smartphone with internet access.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Weekend availability (Saturday/Sunday).
- Ability to manage travel routes between client homes.
- Comfortable working within an assigned schedule based on business demand.
Nice To Haves
- Professional animal experience (pet sitting, veterinary, shelter, daycare, grooming, training, etc.).
- Live locally within Coventry/West Warwick, RI or within approximately 10–15 minutes of the area.

Responsibilities
- Provide weekend dog walking and pet sitting services.
- Maintain consistent availability for assigned weekend service blocks (e.g., 7am-9am, 11am-1pm/3pm, 4pm-6pm, 7pm-9pm).
- Manage travel routes between client homes reliably and on time.
- Adhere to company systems and protocols during onboarding and ongoing work.
- Communicate effectively with the supportive office team and clients.
