Requirements

• Graduate of a state-approved RN program
• Current Iowa RN license
• CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Certification in Infection Prevention and Control (or willingness to complete)
• Successful completion of the state-mandated supervisory course within 6 months

Nice To Haves

• Experience with MDS processes
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care and guidance to staff across all levels
• Identify and educate staff on infection control and prevention practices
• Lead and support the MDS process, including scheduling and transmitting assessments
• Supervise direct care staff and help them achieve shared goals for resident care
• Administer medications, treatments, and follow physician orders with precision and compassion
• Communicate effectively with physicians, supervisors, and team members about resident needs and care progress
