This role, the Weekend Merchandise Controller, acts as a liaison and problem solver between Distribution Center (DC) Operations and Corporate Merchandising Departments. The position involves communicating product inflow information, overseeing priority merchandise production for timely store delivery, monitoring internal computer systems for accuracy, managing merchandise returns to vendors, and maintaining department files.
