About The Position
Exhava Home Care is seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care for clients. This position is intended for caregivers available to work weekends who enjoy supporting older adults. The role helps ensure client safety, provides companionship, and assists with personal care and daily routines. Caregivers follow individualized care plans while promoting client dignity and independence. Exhava Home Care provides ongoing guidance, training, and assistance to support its caregivers.
Requirements
- Active California Home Care Aide (HCA) registration
- Current TB test result or chest X-ray documentation
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
- Valid driver's license and active auto insurance
Nice To Haves
- Previous caregiving experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with morning and evening routines
- Provide personal care, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and incontinence care
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Monitor client safety and comfort
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding when needed
- Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe home environment
- Document care activities and report concerns or changes to the care team
- Follow individualized care plans while promoting client dignity and independence
