About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to support seniors in the comfort of their own homes. Caregivers provide companionship and emotional support, assist with personal care and daily activities, and help seniors remain safe and independent. This role offers weekend shifts and flexible scheduling. Applicants must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable cases.
• Ability to meet onboarding and TB testing requirements.
• Must be able to provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Support mobility and daily activities while encouraging independence.
• Follow care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
