About The Position

Visiting Angels is hiring compassionate, dependable caregivers to support seniors in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, in the comfort of their own homes. The role focuses on companionship, personal care, help with daily activities, and supporting clients’ independence. Weekend shifts are available, with flexible scheduling.

Applicants must provide proof of vaccination and meet onboarding and TB testing requirements. Pay is $15–$20 per hour, with the final rate determined at orientation. Compensation and support include biweekly pay, mileage reimbursement, shift differentials for weekends, couples cases, and Angel Calls, referral bonuses, caregiver recognition, and ongoing training.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of professional caregiving experience.
• Compassion, patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current auto insurance for applicable cases.
• Ability to meet onboarding and TB testing requirements.
• Must provide proof of vaccination.

Responsibilities

• Provide companionship and emotional support to seniors.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
• Help with meal preparation, medication reminders, and light housekeeping.
• Support mobility and daily activities while encouraging independence.
• Follow care plans and report changes in clients’ conditions.
