About The Position

Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking dependable, compassionate, and flexible caregivers to assist seniors and adults in Dallas, Texas, on weekends. Caregivers help clients maintain comfort, dignity, safety, and independence in their homes through personal care, support with daily routines and mobility, meal preparation, companionship, and household assistance. Duties vary according to each client's needs, care plan, and assigned shift.

The schedule is flexible on Saturdays and Sundays, with possible 4-, 6-, 8-, or 12-hour shifts. Open availability on both weekend days is strongly preferred. Assignments may depend on client needs, location, experience, and availability. The pay rate is $15.00 per hour. The agency describes itself as locally owned and operated in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and says its administrative team is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year to provide caregiver support.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living as needed.
• Provide personal hygiene and grooming assistance.
• Support clients with dressing and other daily routines.
• Assist with safe mobility and transfers within the caregiver's training.
• Provide reminders and encouragement to promote independence.
• Offer companionship and conversation.
• Encourage appropriate activities and engagement.
• Assist with meal preparation and mealtime routines.
• Provide reminders and supportive guidance throughout the shift.
• Help clients maintain familiar routines and remain comfortable at home.
• Perform light housekeeping related to client care.
• Assist with laundry and maintain a tidy living environment as needed.
• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home.
• Observe changes in a client's condition and communicate concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Follow established care instructions and safety procedures.
