About The Position

Our CCSA position is an entry-level role designed to equip individuals with the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the wedding industry. This role is an incredible way to learn the ropes in event management and wedding planning, serving as a stepping stone for future growth within the company, potentially leading to the Catering Sales Manager role. The position involves running events, hands-on wedding planning, coordinating details, managing rehearsal coordination, decor setup, seamless day-of wedding planning, and assisting with administrative tasks like floor plans and vendor communications. Collaboration with various teams, including in-house planning and sales, on-site event staff, and external vendors, is crucial for delivering exceptional experiences.

Requirements

  • Hospitality experience is a plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Quick on your feet and able to hustle.

  • Regular availability to work evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
  • Availability for shifts longer than 8 hours and workweeks exceeding 40 hours.

Nice To Haves

  • College degree or equivalent hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Run events from setup to guest sendoff, mastering banquet operations from serving to banquet captaining.
  • Coordinate all details of couples' celebrations and ensure smooth execution on the wedding day.
  • Take charge of rehearsal coordination, decor setup, and seamless day-of wedding planning.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as creating floor plans and managing vendor communications.
  • Collaborate with diverse networks, including in-house planning and sales teams, on-site event staff, and external vendors, to deliver incredible experiences.
