Orlando Health Strategic Innovations is seeking a creative and tech-savvy intern to support our digital content efforts through website management and videography. This position is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in web content, video production, and digital marketing. The position will play a key role in creating and maintaining both an engaging online presence and patient education platform. Requirements

  • This is a temporary assignment for college students obtaining work experience who are currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Communications, Film, Web Design, Digital Media, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with website platforms (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace).
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, iMovie).
  • Basic understanding of SEO and content management systems.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Creative eye for visuals and storytelling.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with updating and maintaining website content using [e.g., WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, etc.].
  • Monitor site performance and suggest improvements to the User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).
  • Ensure web content is current, accessible, and aligned with branding.
  • Collaborate with marketing and design teams to upload blog posts, images, and multimedia.
  • Plan, film, and edit short videos for various needs, such as patient education, simulation trainings, etc.
  • Archive and manage video assets and maintain media libraries.
  • Help develop storyboards or scripts for video projects.
  • Optimize videos for different channels (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, website).
  • Collaborate with internal teams to understand project goals and deliver creative visual solutions.
  • Set up and operate camera, lighting, and audio equipment.
  • Establishes and maintains an open communication process throughout the corporation that reaches patients, visitors, families, physicians, and team members such that each feels they are treated special each time they encounter Orlando Health.
  • May work on special projects and assignments for a department at Orlando Health.
  • Works with other team members on processes and procedures for the assigned department.
  • Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards.
  • Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
