About The Position

Join the Cutting-Edge Team at Itasca Consulting Group! We are seeking a talented and versatile individual to join our team as an Intern Web Developer. This role will involve various responsibilities, including setting up web environment, setting up CMS theme, and some html, CSS, JavaScript development. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in WordPress, web design, taxonomy, possess excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with designer, and sales teams.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in technical school or college.
Background in computer coding required including understanding of web development languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
Ability to manage and update content on a WordPress website.
Strong analytics and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve basic coding issues.
Clear communication skills for effective collaboration within a team.
Attention to detail to maintain the integrity of the website's coding and content.
Eagerness to learn and stay updated with WordPress best practices and new features.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and contribute to projects.
Basic time management skills to meet project deadlines.
Capability to handle and solve minor technical issues independently.
Enrollment in or completion of relevant coursework in web development, computer science, or a related field.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without present or future sponsorship (e.g., H-1B, L-1, TN). Candidates on or for CPT/OPT are ineligible.
