About The Position

We are looking for an experienced Web Developer who can confidently build, manage, troubleshoot, and improve websites while collaborating closely with our Creative, Account Services, and Strategy teams. This person is both technically strong and highly dependable—someone who can move projects forward, solve problems quickly, and create smooth, high-quality digital experiences for both our clients and our internal team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative agency environment, enjoys both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and takes pride in delivering work that is both functional and exceptional. We’re not looking for someone to simply manage websites—we’re looking for someone who can help us elevate how we build, support, and deliver digital experiences for the clients who trust us most. The Web Developer is responsible for building, maintaining, troubleshooting, and optimizing websites across multiple client accounts. This includes new website builds, ongoing updates, backend management, hosting coordination, integrations, security, and technical problem-solving. This role requires strong experience with WordPress development, front-end and backend troubleshooting, hosting and DNS management, and the ability to work cross-functionally with designers, strategists, and account managers to deliver excellent client outcomes. This person should be proactive, detail-oriented, highly organized, and comfortable owning technical execution from start to finish.

Requirements

Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS
Deep WordPress backend knowledge and website management experience
Strong understanding of DNS management and domain configuration
Experience implementing and troubleshooting reCAPTCHA and/or Cloudflare Turnstile
Familiarity with managed hosting environments and hosting providers
Working knowledge of SFTP and PHPMyAdmin
Strong troubleshooting and debugging ability across front-end and backend issues
Excellent project ownership and follow-through
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Experience with PHP
Proficiency in JavaScript
Website performance optimization and technical SEO knowledge
Experience with website security tools and best practices
Familiarity with conversion optimization and user experience best practices
Experience working inside a creative or marketing agency environment

Responsibilities

Website Development + Build
Build and launch websites with a strong focus on performance, usability, SEO, and client goals
Develop primarily within WordPress, including theme customization and backend configuration
Translate design intent into responsive, functional websites using HTML and CSS
Support landing pages, campaign microsites, and conversion-focused web experiences
Ensure mobile responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility across all builds
Website Management + Maintenance
Manage ongoing website updates, enhancements, and optimization across client accounts
Maintain CMS updates, plugin updates, backups, and security best practices
Monitor website performance, uptime, and technical health
Support managed hosting environments and coordinate with hosting providers
Manage website migrations, domain configurations, redirects, and deployment processes
Troubleshooting + Technical Support
Diagnose and resolve website issues quickly and accurately
Troubleshoot HTML/CSS issues, broken functionality, form issues, plugin conflicts, and hosting concerns
Manage DNS settings, SSL certificates, domain records, and email/domain routing issues
Implement and troubleshoot reCAPTCHA, Turnstile, forms, integrations, and third-party platform connections
Access and manage environments using SFTP and PHPMyAdmin as needed
Identify root causes and implement long-term solutions—not just quick fixes
Client + Team Collaboration
Partner with Account Services and Strategy teams to ensure technical work aligns with client goals and timelines
Help communicate technical recommendations in clear, client-friendly language
Collaborate with Creative to ensure visual excellence and functional integrity
Participate in project planning, scope discussions, and effort estimation
Contribute to internal process improvement and documentation of best practices
