About The Position

Performs a variety of duties to move, grind, and assemble a web. The role includes cutting or grinding away excess resin and fiberglass, scuffing and repairing webs according to repair specifications, assembling and aligning web halves, and moving assembled webs to storage or production areas for installation in a blade. The position works the 10 p.m.–6:30 a.m. shift.

Requirements

Ability to lift or carry objects or materials weighing up to 40 pounds.
Ability to push or pull heavy objects.
Ability to stand or walk for long periods.
Ability to operate basic hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery.
Must use a respirator.
Certifications in crane operation and crane spotting.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma, GED, or related work experience.
Previous manufacturing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Cut or grind away excess resin and fiberglass.
Scuff the web.
Repair the web according to repair specifications.
Assemble and align web halves by installing spacers, hardware, lightning arrestors, glue channels, and buttons.
Move assembled webs to storage areas or production areas for installation in the blade.
Maintain 5S standards.
