Cut & Trim Technician
About The Position
The Cut & Trim Technician works with a team to build fiberglass wind turbine blades in GE Vernova's Onshore Wind production operation. Cut and Trim work includes grinding and scuffing blade surfaces and applying fiberglass and chemicals. The broader production process also includes moulding, closing, finishing, and assembly activities. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 p.m. to 2:30 a.m., with an eight-hour shift listed. The posting gives an hourly pay range of $22.88 to $27.15. Requirements
- Be able to stand or walk for long periods.
- Be able to read work instructions.
- Have basic math skills.
- Be able to operate basic hand tools.
- May be required to operate power tools.
- Be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
