About The Position

The Web Business Analyst III will collaborate with developers, project managers, quality assurance, business teams, and technical support to provide business and technical direction on systems, design, development, testing, and deployment. This role involves meeting with Company Executives to understand strategy, tactical approaches, priorities, requirements, and business processes. The analyst will document business requirements, potentially develop and oversee project plans, coordinate the development of technical specifications, and enforce change control procedures. A key aspect of this role is to proactively engage with users at all levels through formal and informal meetings and observation. The position may also involve developing and maintaining project schedules, ensuring open and timely communication with all stakeholders, and developing and maintaining all project documentation. The Web Business Analyst III is expected to be an advocate for customers/users, develop and maintain strong business acumen, and contribute to the growth and use of the knowledge library by ensuring increased code reuse. Additionally, this role includes mentoring associates and fostering a learning and growth environment, representing the company professionally, and establishing effective relationships with internal and external contacts. The role requires strong organizational skills for documentation, prioritization, and communication, as well as detailed and thorough work habits with multi-tasking abilities.

Requirements

4+ years of experience as a business analyst, product owner, program analyst, product manager or equivalent position required. For internal candidates, experience can be a combination of internal and external experience.
4+ years with ecommerce environments (B2B required).
In-depth understanding of the software development lifecycle, project management tools and methodologies.
Proven experience with problem solving and solution development.
Demonstrated ability to partner with agile release train/scrum teams to deliver solutions.
Proven experience in producing documentation including, requirements documents, flowcharts, wireframes, and other process diagrams.
Proven ability to work in teams with a collaborative interpersonal style in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.

Demonstrated skills with project management tools and methodologies, software development lifecycle and problem solving.
Ability to produce rich documentation including screen mockups, flowcharts and other process diagrams.

Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills. Including the ability to communicate with people at all levels.
Requires a bachelor’s degree in a related technical field or equivalent work experience
Deep subject matter/platform expertise over established program value area within the Mouser enterprise
Proven success in exploring stakeholder/market needs, segmentation, sizing, and competitive landscape to achieve desirable, feasible, and sustainable outcomes.
Expert leadership skills in driving successful delivery of projects and initiatives.
Established skills and experience with documenting business needs, user requirements and agile feature acceptance criteria.
Mentor peers in learning and building proficiency in Mouser, Internet Business, and stakeholder analysis and communication skills.

Experience with Mockup creation and prototyping using HTML is preferred

Responsibilities

Document business requirements, may develop and oversee project plans, oversee and coordinate the development of technical specifications, and help enforce change control procedures.
Take initiative to spend time with all levels of users (formal meetings, informal meetings, observing work, etc.)
May develop and maintain project schedules with appropriate input, including all necessary activities and dependencies.
Establish open, fluid and timely communications with all interested parties, stakeholders and the project team. This could include all levels of participants from Company Executives to individual contributors.
Develop and maintain all Project Documentation for all assigned projects.
Be seen as an advocate for the customers/users.
Develop and maintain a strong Mouser business acumen and use it with each assignment.
Ensures an increased level of code reuse and contributes to the growth and use of the knowledge library.
Mentor associates and foster a learning and growth environment.
Represents the company and Internet Business in a professional manner.
