Weatherization Installer — Level 1

GreenSavers•Portland, OR
•Onsite

About The Position

GreenSavers is hiring a Level 1 Weatherization Installer to help make Portland homes more comfortable and energy efficient. The role installs insulation and seals air leaks with guidance from experienced teammates, while building confidence and skills on the job. Success means completing assigned work safely, protecting customers’ homes, and steadily improving workmanship and independence. Advancement toward Level 2 is based on demonstrated skills, quality, safety, and reliability rather than time on the crew. This is hands-on field work in occupied homes, including attics, crawl spaces, basements, roofs, and other confined or difficult-to-access areas. The work includes frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds; standing, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and climbing ladders; and exposure to heat, cold, dust, and weather. The employee must be able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation and follow required safety and PPE practices. GreenSavers helps homeowners improve comfort and energy efficiency and values employees who take pride in their work, support teammates, and keep learning. Applicants are asked to submit a resume and brief cover letter describing their interest in GreenSavers, hands-on work, and experience in attics, crawl spaces, or similar residential jobsites.
