About The Position

Rise Modular, LLC is seeking a skilled, safety-conscious, reliable, and detail-oriented team member to join its production and transport team. The role applies weatherproofing and heavy-duty shrink-wrap protection to volumetric modular units, ensuring they are sealed against weather during transit, and safely loads the units onto transport trailers. The position also involves checking module placement and alignment, measuring and cutting protective materials, following safety protocols, and completing related carpentry and production duties. Work takes place in a fast-paced manufacturing yard or indoor facility, with exposure to varying weather conditions and heavy equipment noise. Team members should have a positive attitude and flexibility regarding job responsibilities.

Requirements

• 0–3 years of hands-on experience or experience in a closely related construction or manufacturing field.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, or layout specifications.
• Comfort using hand tools, power tools, and specialized wrapping or heat equipment.
• Strong focus on quality control, including ensuring complete weather protection and precise physical placement.
• Ability to perform measurements, fractions, and calculations for layout and cutting tasks.
• Dependability and a strong record of attendance and punctuality.
• Ability to safely lift, carry, and maneuver materials and tools weighing up to 75 pounds at a time.
• Positive attitude and flexibility regarding job responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Wrap modules with specialized weatherproofing materials and apply a shrink-wrap system to create a secure, weather-tight seal during transit.
• Operate overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting jacks safely to maneuver and position modules onto transport trailers.
• Measure weather-tight units and check proper placement, squareness, and symmetry; take corrective action to address alignment or sealing issues.
• Measure and cut protective materials to precise specifications using hand tools and power equipment.
• Follow safety protocols, work safely at various heights, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Perform other related carpentry and production duties as assigned by team leadership.
