About The Position

This role is responsible for executing transactions accurately, on time, and in line with established guidelines and procedures, while adhering to Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The Wealth Operations Officer II will identify opportunities to improve service delivery, support process improvement initiatives, and develop working relationships with customers, partners, and vendors. The role also involves understanding and adhering to internal and industry regulations, completing assigned workloads, and maintaining confidentiality. Additionally, the officer will review internal processes, investigate and escalate non-standard activities, and comply with the Bank Code of Conduct. Team participation includes supporting a positive work environment, communicating issues, sharing knowledge, and engaging in personal development activities.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree/ college diploma preferred and/or 1+ years relevant experience
  • Ability to execute transactions accurately, on time and in line with established guidelines / procedures while adhering to formal or informal Service Level Agreement(s) (SLAs)
  • Ability to refer or escalate processing or operational issues as needed based on a solid understanding of the issue, connecting with the appropriate function / partner to facilitate resolution and ensure that service quality is maintained
  • Ability to identify opportunities to improve service delivery and support process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to support partners with incoming transactions, validating information as needed to perform adjustments within authority levels
  • Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with customers, partners and vendors including responding to questions and / or concerns in an effective and timely manner
  • Ability to complete assigned workload to meet SLA requirements for service and productivity
  • Understanding of internal and industry regulations, remain informed of emerging issues and apply appropriate due diligence in adherence with operating policies / procedures
  • Ability to exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; escalate issues where appropriate
  • Ability to support the timely and accurate completion of business processes including completing and recording transactions for either the organization or clients
  • Ability to actively review internal processes / activities and provide ideas for process improvement
  • Ability to investigate and escalate non-standard or high-risk activities as appropriate
  • Adherence to enterprise frameworks and methodologies that relate to operations activities for own area (e.g. Anti-Money Laundering, Business Continuity Management)
  • Knowledge of and compliance with Bank Code of Conduct

  • Transactions and activities require process knowledge for own area of expertise and could include ad hoc non-routine requests across multiple jurisdictions
  • Low to moderate decision-making authority within defined parameters
  • Identifies issues and resolves or escalates internally as required (within a prescribed set of parameters/rules)
  • Typically has interaction with internal partners and external clients
  • Focus of work is on the completion of day to day or weekly processes or activities however may include monthly routine activities
  • Requires working level knowledge of the business unit and operational functions for the business area supported as well as regulatory issues/requirements for jurisdictions supported
