About The Position

The Wealth Management Retirement Plan Services Client Support Analyst is responsible for developing and maintaining a strong understanding of Retirement Plan Services (RPS) processes, policies, and guidelines, and effectively communicating this information to customers and internal associates. This role involves responding to and resolving customer and internal department inquiries via phone and email regarding retirement plans and plan provisions, including reviewing and interpreting plan documents. The analyst will also administer monthly and quarterly RPS fee processing, interpret retirement plan documents (including DOL and IRS regulations) to determine participant eligibility, and coordinate with outsourced service providers for reporting and documentation related to new plan implementations, amendments, terminations, or changes. Additionally, the position requires maintaining brokerage relationships, supporting audit and compliance review processes, and adhering to the Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts.

Requirements

  • At a minimum, employees must obtain a HS Diploma or GED.
  • 2 Year / Associates Degree in Business or Finance or 1+ years in related field.
  • Notary Public obtained with first 90 days.
  • 2+ years of banking experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Able to obtain CRPS or similar designation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of Retirement Plan Services (RPS) processes, policies, and guidelines, and effectively communicate this information to customers and internal associates.
  • Respond to and resolve customer and internal department inquiries via phone and email regarding retirement plans and plan provisions, including reviewing and interpreting plan documents.
  • Administer monthly and quarterly RPS fee processing in accordance with established procedures and timelines.
  • Interpret retirement plan documents, including Department of Labor (DOL) and Internal Revenue Service (IRS) regulations, to determine participant eligibility for enrollment, transfers, and distributions.
  • Coordinate with the outsourced service provider to ensure all required information is provided for monthly, quarterly, and year end reporting.
  • Prepare and submit required documentation to the outsourced service provider for new plan implementations, plan amendments, plan terminations or transfers, and plan changes such as ACH updates and authorization forms.
  • Maintain brokerage relationships, including supporting audit and compliance review processes.
  • Maintain awareness of and adherence to Bank’s compliance requirements and risk management concepts, expectations, policies and procedures and apply them to daily tasks.
  • Deliver a consistent, high level of service within our Serving More standards.
  • Other duties as assigned.
