The Wealth Management Associate Program is a salaried development program aimed at developing sales and entrepreneurial-minded individuals into a private banking role. The program offers a strong foundation on building core credit underwriting and relationship management skills. Scotia Wealth Management Private Banking offers strategic borrowing solutions and customized personal banking support for high-net worth clients. Requirements

  • Completing a master’s degree by January 2027, or a recent graduate with less than 5 years of experience.
  • Passion for helping others achieve their financial goals.
  • Excited about building a long-term career in Credit Advisory.
  • Naturally curious, thoughtful, and collaborative.
  • Enjoy solving problems that matter to people.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and enjoy connecting with others.
  • Strong communication skills—listening, asking great questions, and expressing ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop core credit underwriting and relationship management skills.
  • Provide strategic borrowing solutions and customized personal banking support for high-net worth clients.
  • Deliver personalized and attentive service to help clients meet their financial goals.
  • Gain exposure to credit advisory businesses and their application to an overall wealth strategy.
  • Work with wealth teams to gain relevant and practical experience.
  • Prepare to attain licensing requirements associated with transitioning into a Wealth Management role.
