About The Position

The Operator supports production by operating a variety of equipment to produce quality products according to provided criteria and work instructions. The role works with cross-functional departments to maintain part quality, follow procedures, and support a safe, productive work environment and company culture. The listed schedule is Y Shift, 5 PM–5 AM Friday through Sunday.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
0–1 years of machine operation experience.
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Basic math skills.
Basic mechanical skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and understand work instructions.

Responsibilities

Follow safety policies and 6S standards to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
Identify and escalate potential safety risks on the production floor.
Operate equipment independently or as part of a team according to work instructions.
Use electronic devices to reference work instructions, control plans, and visual criteria, and accurately log production numbers.
Perform repetitive tasks while maintaining required production pace and quality standards to meet delivery, efficiency, and quality metrics.
Recognize equipment problems and respond or escalate as needed.
Monitor product quality using visual criteria and escalate issues to appropriate personnel.
Use fixtures, jigs, and hand tools as needed to position or move components and parts correctly.
Work with the Machine Set Up Technician to resolve equipment problems.
Clean equipment as required to ensure proper operation.
Conduct prescribed Autonomous Maintenance tasks.
Place processed parts into containers and palletize them according to work instructions and specified quantities on the part tag.
Perform other duties and projects as determined by business and production needs.
