Wax Specialist (Licensed Cosmetologist or Esthetician)
About The Position
The Wax Specialist delivers full-body waxing services for women and men using European Wax Center’s proprietary comfort wax and techniques. Specialists provide an exceptional guest experience, educate guests about waxing frequency, and recommend proprietary products for at-home care. They begin with new-hire training in a collaborative classroom environment led by Regional Wax Trainers and maintain a clean, sanitized, and stocked wax suite in compliance with Texas TDLR safety and health procedures. The role requires an active Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license and comfort performing all face and body waxing services. Male Brazilian services are optional and require specialized advanced training. Career paths include technical training roles and leadership positions.
Requirements
- Hold a current Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.
- Be comfortable performing all face and body waxing services for male and female guests.
- Be hardworking, honest, punctual, coachable, and eager to master new techniques.
- Work a variety of shifts and at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week.
