About The Position

As a Wax Specialist with UPMA Group, a franchise partner of European Wax Center, you provide full-body waxing services for women and men using EWC’s proprietary comfort wax and techniques. You help guests look and feel their best in a modern, luxurious environment, educate them about waxing frequency, and recommend EWC products for at-home care. The position begins with training as a “Hub-let” alongside Regional Wax Trainers in a collaborative classroom environment. Specialists maintain a clean, sanitized, and stocked wax suite in compliance with Texas (TDLR) safety and health procedures. The role requires flexibility to work a variety of shifts and at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) every week. Performing Brazilian services for male guests is optional and requires specialized advanced training. UPMA Group describes technical and leadership career paths, including progression to peer trainer, regional wax trainer, assistant center manager, and center experience manager.

Requirements

• Current, active Texas Esthetician or Cosmetologist license.
• Comfort and confidence performing all face and body waxing services for male and female guests.
• Hard-working, honest, punctual, and personable.
• Coachability and eagerness to master new techniques through training.

Nice To Haves

• Interest in pursuing the technical career path toward peer trainer or Regional Wax Trainer.
• Interest in pursuing the leadership career path toward Assistant Center Manager or Center Experience Manager.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality full-body waxing services for male and female guests using EWC’s proprietary techniques.
• Educate guests about waxing frequency and recommend proprietary products to maintain results at home.
• Maintain a clean, sanitized, and fully stocked wax suite in compliance with Texas (TDLR) safety and health procedures.
• Attend new-hire training and learn from Regional Wax Trainers.
• Work a variety of shifts and at least one full weekend day (Saturday or Sunday) each week.
