About The Position
The Wax Injector Operator completes the operations and efficiently operates equipment used to make wax pattern products. The role maintains wax and soluble melting pots, cleans plugs and dies, and maintains the quality of patterns, solubles, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies. The operator meets efficiency standards, keeps the work area clean, orderly, and safe, follows safety rules and procedures, complies with applicable Standard Operating Procedures, and performs other duties assigned by supervision.
Requirements
- Meet or exceed defined visual acuity requirements when required.
- Meet color perception standards needed to perform job requirements when required.
- Complete additional training to comply with applicable SOPs or certifications when required.
Responsibilities
- Complete all operations and efficiently operate equipment used to make wax pattern products.
- Keep wax and soluble melting pots filled at all times.
- Clean plugs.
- Maintain quality on patterns, solubles, gating, sprues, and sub-assemblies.
- Clean dies after each job and store them in the proper area.
- Meet the specific requirements of the efficiency standards.
- Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe.
- Follow procedures and all safety rules.
- Comply with all applicable Standard Operating Procedures.
- Perform other duties assigned by supervision.
