About The Position

Micron Solutions is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician to join its second-shift manufacturing team in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. This hands-on position involves setting up and troubleshooting injection molding machines, performing mold and job changeovers, monitoring processes, and supporting safe and efficient production. The technician will also work with robotics and automated manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

Hands-on injection molding experience.

Responsibilities

Set up, start, and troubleshoot injection molding machines.
Perform mold and job changeovers.
Set up and troubleshoot auxiliary equipment.
Respond to machine alarms and processing issues.
Make process adjustments within established parameters.
Monitor cycle times, machine performance, and process stability.
Troubleshoot basic robotics and automation issues.
Complete required production and process documentation.
Identify opportunities to reduce scrap and improve efficiency.
Work with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, and Quality to resolve manufacturing issues.
Follow established safety, quality, and manufacturing procedures.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
