About The Position

Henpen Consultants is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Process Technician for a growing precision plastics manufacturer. The role is based on-site in a clean manufacturing environment and is a full-time, direct-hire position. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to midnight. Pay is $30.90–$39.30 per hour based on experience, plus a shift differential.

The technician performs mold setups, teardowns, and machine startups and shutdowns; troubleshoots molding processes to reduce scrap and downtime; documents process settings and implements approved adjustments; sets up auxiliary equipment and assists with robotics and automation; partners with maintenance and engineering to resolve equipment issues; and trains operators while supporting continuous improvement.

Applicants must be local candidates. Relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are unavailable. No degree is required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of hands-on plastic injection molding setup, processing, and troubleshooting experience.
• Understanding of scientific molding principles and injection mold design.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to explain process adjustments.
• Basic Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
• Strong communication skills, reliability, and attention to safety.
• Local candidates only; relocation assistance and visa sponsorship are unavailable.
• No degree required.

Nice To Haves

• Robotics, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and automation experience preferred.
