About The Position

The Wave Planner, reporting to the Senior Wave Planner/Sr Ops/Operations Manager, is responsible for releasing work to the floor and tracking the progress of waves in order to meet business needs. The schedule for this position is 7:00am- 3:30pm, Monday- Friday. The compensation for this position is $17.00/hr.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• A minimum of one (1)-two (2) years’ experience in related field required.
• Ability to apply and utilize analytical tools to determine decisions based on customer expectations.
• Proficient in all Microsoft business applications such as Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Basic math skills - add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Nice To Haves

• experience in warehouse operations, customer service, and/or inventory control clerk preferred.
• Minimum of one (1) year Wave Planning experience strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of WMS preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish/English skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, analyzing, modifying and executing the Wave Plan to predetermine ship schedules are met for all customers while maintaining a level workload of activity across all shifts.
• Prioritize daily schedule and create reports as needed to monitor, track and measure performance at all levels.
• Assist with the management of pick tickets by printing and issuing to specified departments.
• Collaborates and work closely with Operations teams to ensure the completion of replenishment to release orders to warehouse floor.
• Clearly communicating with internal/external partners; identifying key issues and collaborating with operations management team to determine a resolution.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
