About The Position

The Wave Planner is responsible for assigning work to pick/pack team members, verifying work completion in the warehouse management system, and coordinating with Inventory Control to resolve discrepancies. This role also involves supplying tracking information, creating packing slips, monitoring special projects, and assisting with shipping supplies. The Wave Planner will follow up on corporate inquiries and assist with client and executive visits, in addition to other assigned duties.

Requirements

Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Exhibit exceptional interpersonal relationships with employees, peers, and customers.
Reliably and regularly maintain telephone and email communication with various LSL staff members.
Candidate must have strong emphasis on organization and communication.
Ability to multitask on a daily basis.
Ability to work with minimal supervision.
Must be able to successfully pass all preliminary employment requirements (i.e., background check and drug screen).
Must have a valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

College degree preferred, but not required.
A minimum of 2 years’ logistics and warehousing experience is preferred.
Experience with warehouse or supply chain environments is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assigning work to pick/pack team members.
Verifying work completion in LSL’s warehouse management system.
Coordinating Inventory Control support to correct location discrepancies.
Supplying tracking information for a variety of order types.
Creating generic packing slips as required.
Monitoring and assisting with the execution of special projects, relabeling and kitting.
Assisting the Operations Coordinator with tracking and maintaining shipping supplies.
Follow up with corporate group inquiries via email and telephone in a timely manner.
Assist Operations group with client and executive visits.
Other duties as assigned.
