About The Position

Manages the day-to-day operations of assisted living units, student housing, and short-term lodging at the Watkins campus, including maintenance, security, and tenant relations. Coordinates with the Administrator to implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with housing laws and regulations. Coordinates with finance departments to oversee rent collection processes. Supports the onboarding and scheduling of Watkins property staff, maintaining and monitoring staff development records.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborates with Administration to maintain compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Provide oversight of the quality of services with consideration for resident and family satisfaction.
  • Assists with the onboarding of staff and students.
  • Tracks maintaining staff educational requirements; Computer Based Training, updated certifications such as BCLS, etc.
  • Coordinates with nursing staff for the admission, daily operations, and discharge processes for residents.
  • Manages tours, contracts, orientation, communication, monitoring, discharge, and room turnover process for the Student-In-Residence program.
  • Champion and lead continuous improvement work.
  • Demonstrate LEAN proficiency through coaching, inquiry, root cause analysis, and removing barriers to improved performance.
  • Accountable for the leader's standard work and daily/weekly audits of department standard work.
  • Encourages staff-level problem-solving in the department.
  • Occasional shopping required to meet resident needs.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
