About The Position

Pyramid Global Hospitality is seeking a Waterpark Supervisor for the OKANA Resort and Indoor WaterPark. This role involves supervising the lifeguard leadership team and lifeguards to ensure guest safety at the aquatic facility. The supervisor will coordinate rotations, conduct drills, provide guidance, monitor activities, enforce safety protocols, and respond to emergencies. Responsibilities include overseeing safety equipment, ensuring lifeguard certifications are current, and serving as a point of contact for staff and guests to address concerns and ensure smooth operations. This position is crucial for maintaining a safe, efficient, and enjoyable environment.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Lifeguard Instructor Certified (must be obtained within 30 days of hire date)
3+ years of lifeguard training experience
Ability to lead, mentor, and coach a large group of team members to provide exceptional customer service in a safe atmosphere

Responsibilities

Daily pre-opening walk-thru of the waterpark to ensure equipment is in working condition and the park is clean.
Maintain documentation of inspections, highlighting potential safety concerns.
Work closely with Engineering & Park Service teams on maintenance and cleaning needs.
Recruit, onboard, train, and schedule lifeguards and other service personnel.
Communicate staffing needs with Human Resources.
Lead the team to provide exceptional customer service and a safe environment.
Participate in developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for all aspects of waterpark operation.
Conduct inventory and order necessary supplies, maintaining supply costs within budget.
Interact with Sales and Front Office teams to prepare for upcoming business demands.
Participate in Site Inspections and FAM trips to support the Sales team.
