About The Position

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Waterpark Barback. In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive and consistent service to create a beyond expectations food and beverage experience for all guests. To provide the guests with a clean and replenished bar and service area. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure a smooth and efficient bar operation by keeping the bar stocked, clean, and organized, allowing bartenders to focus on delivering exceptional service to our guests.

Requirements

Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately.
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems as necessary.

Responsibilities

Maintain bar area; including keeping the bar top/counters and well areas neat and organized, dirty cocktail glasses removed and washed; any napkins, coasters, straws or discarded garnishes cleaned up.
Perform side work duties; cleaning assigned station and other responsibilities as assigned based on business needs.
Be ready and willing to assist fellow associates (bartenders, barbacks, servers, bussers, host/hostess, and management) as situations rise.
