In this role, you will provide friendly, responsive service to create a beyond expectation experience for all guests. To actively participate as a team and use core values and service expectations listed in the Kalahari Promise daily. As part of our leadership team, you’ll embody our Promise to Lead with Love—guiding, supporting, and inspiring associates while delivering extraordinary guest experiences. You’ll ensure orders reach guests quickly, correctly, and with great customer service.

Requirements

  • General food and beverage knowledge involving at least 1 year of front-of-the-house operations is preferred.
  • Prior restaurant experience in a full-service restaurant is a must or background in the service industry is a plus
  • Good verbal communication and interpersonal skills are a must.
  • Must be able to work in a stationary position for long periods of times and in sometimes hot and humid weather conditions.
  • Must be able to work and be flexible with all shifts, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

  • Delivery food and beverage orders from kitchen and bar with appropriate service trays to guests in a timely manner.
  • Maintain clean, neat, and organized service area.
  • Monitor and observe guests dining experience. Ensure guests are satisfied with the food, beverage, and service. Respond promptly and courteously to their needs and requests.
  • Be ready and willing to assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables.
  • Fully understand and comply with all federal, state, county and municipal regulations that pertain to health, safety and labor requirements of the restaurant, associates and guests.
